Thanks. Hopefully it's a good game. Flyers usually have a lot of fan support here.
You know I still love you - you crazy bastard. |

Or this gives me the perfect chance to hold up signs that Hextall will see.

Heck if I lived in the Peg I'd be going to watch Laine, Schiefele, and Ehlers. 3 absolute studs...
I'm going to be heading out to Manitoba in a few months. Going to Churchill to do a Polar Bear tour. Have you ever done one? |

So WPG's future is fine with a horrid defense core, a poopty gm and coach, and basically no goaltending but the Flyers are a rudderless ship heading nowhere fast.
Makes sense. |

Never have. They have polar bears in the zoo here and quite honestly I'd rather spend vacation money to go somewhere warm haha. Heard it's a wonderful experience though.
Give me a message when you are in town. Jets need to fire Maurice and improve goaltending, they shouldn't be this bad. |

As a club they lack structure. Just my opinion from the games I have seen. Some of the pieces they have are not bad.
Goaltending is young - and poor.
Ironically, Chevy is exactly what I don't want in Hextall. That is a perfect example of a dude hanging on to an previous core that obviously isn't good enough. Too much loyalty to a bad HC. |

Hellebyuck is being handled so poorly. I used to be high on him as an elite goaltending prospect but his athleticism is really the only thing going for him right now imo.
They have some fantastic forward prospects but how in any way are they in a better position going forward?
I agree, Chevy is a great example of a gm being too conservative. |

Thing is though. I think they thought just moving to a new city they couldn't completely suck ass and sell off everything. I would have - because fans were in a nostalgic 'can do no wrong' phase. Right now, its years in and a lack of playoff revenue may doom Chevy. |

Yeah it was definitely an odd situation with the whole relocation thing. Hindsight is 20/20 as they say. |

The way I see it, their young core is on the team NOW and starting to produce. Whereas the Flyers are still waiting for their young core to start or even make the club.
I don't think that means Winnipeg is better than the Flyers in the future. |

Yeah, I'm sure you'd still be a fan of a franchise that hasn't won a playoff game since they came into the league as the Thrashers in 1999.
Shame the team you do "support" has no good young players at all. |

Receipt for prospects:
- Set oven to 400.
- Forwards (cook for 1-3 years)
- Defense (cook for 2-4)
Note: Do not overcook or they will have to be thrown away.
For savory, precooked prospects cooking time is much less.
